Setup Configuration HotSpot

Setting Hotspot Mikrotik RouterOS is very easy to configure. Hotspot authentication system commonly used when we will provide Internet access in public areas,  such as: hotels, cafes, campus, airports, parks, malls etc.. Internet access technology typically uses wireless network or wired network. Usually provide free internet access by using hotspot or can also use the voucher for its authenticity. When opening a web page then the router will check whether the user is authenticated or not, If not perform authentication, the user will be redirected to the hotspot login page that requires username and password. If the login information entered is correct, then the router will insert the user into the system hotspot and client can access the web page. Additionally, it will appear a pop-up windows containing the status of  ip address, byte rate and time live. Use of Internet access hotspots can be calculated based on time (time-based) and data download / upload (volume-based), Moreover, it can also be done limit bandwidth based on the data rate, the total data upload / download or can be in line based on duration of use.
An easy way to setting mikrotik hotspot is there are 2 (two) using the text mode option but we can also use the settings wizard using RouterOS Winbox, The following steps are basic configuration mikrotik hotspot as a Gateway Server. First install RouterOS on a PC or connect the DOM or if using immediately wrote Rouer Board Login = ‘admin’ for password while you leave blank for default.
Go to IP ==> Hotspot ==> Setup
Then specify the local IP hotspot that there will be using, eg Specify an IP address 192.168.10.1 and DHCP to clientnya you’ll use, in this example is 192.168.10.2-192.168.10.255.
For the SMTP server you should empty it, then adjust the DNS server you fill with your provider, in this example is DNS1 = DNS2 = 202.47.78.9 202.47.78.1
Your local DNS hotspots on Hotspot NEXT course then your users fill in the following example the admin password admin 123.
Hotspot Server Profile used for setting up a server that will be used for all users such as authentication methods and data rate limitation. There are 6 types of different authentication Mikrotik Hotspot in profile settings, authentication types are: HTTP PAP, CHAP HTTP, HTTPS, HTTP cookies, MAC address, Trial.
Authentication methods to be used, usually simply use HTTP methods CHAP.
Limitation of data rate is used as the default setting for users who have not been in setting the bandwidth usage limit. Where X is the Client is the Client TX upload and download. For example the default settings in 64k/128k data rate (upload / download).
Hotspot user profile is used to store user data that will be created profilenya rule. Where in it can be done setting the firewall filter chain for traffic in / out, also can be used for setting up the data rate limitation and in addition can also be marking package for each user who entered into the profile automatically.
Hotspot users are user names that will be authenticated on the system hotspot. Some things can be done in the configuration of the hotspot user: username and password, Limiting user based on time and package data to be used, only certain ip address dhcp ip address from being offered or only allow a user to connect to a hotspot system from a particular MAC address .
IP Bindings are used to allow certain ip to bypass authentication hotspot, this is very useful when we want to run the service server, or IP telephony system under hotspots. For example, PC or your notebook to be able to bypass the hotspot system, so you can browse without authentication.
may be wrong here if there are many masters who could help to explain in detail to us who do not understand very well with the mikrotik ..
